How It Was Made:

Yoko was the first cosplay I ever made, so there are things I would definitely re-do if I were to ever make this cosplay again (which I doubt I ever will).

Materials:

-Black bikini top

-Red vinly (I would recommend four-way or two-way stretch because I used non-stretch and it was a pain)

-Black two-way stretch pleather

-Model Magic

-Bondo

-Wood

-Red bikini string

-Orange saftey goggles purchased from eBay

-Tripod (turned into a bipod)

-Fake handgun

-Pink fabric of your choice

-White fabric of your choice

-Red fabric of your choice

-Pink socks

The bikini top was actually really hard to alter. I would like to have made my own, but I wasn't good at sewing when I made this. I made the flames LITERALLY ten times. I hand drew them and applied them to the fabric and sewed it on. It was really annoying to fish the red bikini string through and then sew the bikini over that without sewing through the string.

The shorts are made from two-way stretch pleather. I made the pattern by seam-ripping an old pair of shorts and making a few alterations. I made two pairs of shorts because I was afraid of one pair not holding out haha.

The long glove is also made of the two-way stretch pleather. I created it to have a thumb hole so it wouldn't slide around as I moved my arm.

The gloves are bought off of eBay because making pleather gloves is extremely difficult! The socks were also bought online along with the orange safety glasses. The sticks in the hair were bought from Michael's and my boyfriend sharpened, and then dulled, the ends of them because I don't like to cut things with sharp objects. I painted them yellow though!

The scarf was made by my friend Heine Props before I had a sewing machine. He also made my skull pin that clips into the wig!

The boots are actually white Gogo boots I bought on eBay. I cut them, a little shorter than I would have liked, and hand painted the flames on. The "zippers" on the side are made of Model Magic and painted grey.

The rifle was mainly made by my boyfriend, but I helped out because I'm not skilled in working with wood. It is made of PVC pipe, wood, the handle of a fake handgun, a tripod that we turned into a bipod, the body of a scope, and model magic. The tip and back of the gun are made of wood along with the area where the ammo cartridges go. The scope is made of the body of a scope along with model magic. It was an interesting project to take on because we were rushed to make it for Otakon, hence why it is so rough around the edges. The wig was purchased on eBay and I styled it. It was pretty fun to style, but it really only involved cutting the wig to look how I wanted it to.
