I am a terrible person for not updating this often. I've recently moved and I am unable to work on cosplays until my sewing room is cleaned out and I have my table in there. Poison is basically done for Otakon. The only thing left is to cut the chain I bought so there is a small part to be attached to the hat. I may also use an old pair of jeans I found to re-make the shorts because the ones I used from a thrift store are too tight despite being the size that I wear (every brand is different though).

Popstar Ahri still needs to be completed. She will be my main focus, but at least it is just one cosplay that needs to be completed for Otakon!

Also, I'm thinking of re-opening commission slots for cosplays, but I want to get into making other things as well to sell in my Storenvy and even commission. I'm thinking about making Kigurumis (both ones to sell and custom-made ones) along with other cosplay accessories, but I still need to plan everything out. Any extra money since I moved out will be extremely beneficial!

Katsucon is slowly approaching..and I have absolutely nothing done for myself. I have one commission to finish for Katsucon and then I can work on my own cosplays. After that I have one final commission and then I will go back to working on my own costumes.

Anyway, today I decided to purchase Kamui Cosplays' books on armor making and painting. The e-books are only $5 each, which is extremely reasonable in price. If you want a physical copy of the book they are $20 each, but I don't know if she charges shipping or what the shipping charge is if there is one. Both books are EXTREMELY informational and I would highly recommend purchasing the books if you plan on making armor. I learned a lot just by reading them and I definitely plan on referencing them in the future when I plan on making armor.

If you want a copy of the book you can get it here

I am officially making this website live! I feel that it flows better than my old one and I also prefer the look of it.

In other news I am sad to say that I need to cancel all commission requests unless the person has already paid some portion of it (whether it is materials or labor). I hate to do it, but I want to move out of my house and I cannot afford having a job that doesn't have steady income. I don't really like to take big risks like that. I am truly sorry for this...I was pretty depressed about it when I made the decision, but in the end it will be for the best.

On a lighter note, I will probably be doing a vlog for Katsucon! My friend is letting me borrow his camcorder because I currently do not own one. I do have a Nikon D3100 that can record, but it is designed more for photos than video.

I just created this new website because I much prefer the design aspect of it over the old one! I'm hoping to get it up and running as soon as possible, but feel free to check it out and let me know if you would like anything added!
